1 Derby (12-0) vs. 5 Blue Valley North Mustangs (9-3) @ Emporia - BVN leads 1-0
* In a rematch of the 2017 6A State Title game, the Blue Valley North Mustangs will look to defend against the Derby Panthers.
This will be their second meeting together on the gridiron between the two, as both sides are familiar with each other.
Graham Mertz of the Mustangs will be looking to finish and go out as #1 as he prepares to play for Wisconsin in 2019.

* In a battle of #1 seeds going down, the Northwest Grizzlies representing the GWAL "City League" of Wichita will take on the Aquinas Saints of the EKL.
For the Grizzlies, this is their second trip to the State Championship Final, with their last being the 1996 season led by former Head Coach Don Davis finishing (9-3) in that season losing to Gene Weir's Olathe North Eagles.
While the Grizzlies will be motivated in looking for their first ever Football title, the Saints will be looking to do the same having played one less game. For those Saints, also of the EKL, this is their fifth trip to the 5A Title game. Both State Football, and Men's Basketball Titles are the only two that elude the Saints trophy case inside Overland Park, KS.

* The Goddard Lions will find themselves to be the next test against the Bishop Miege Stags.
This will be the first meeting between the two in the 4A State Final, as the Lions, led by Tommy Beason will carry a five game winning streak in to the game similar to the Stags.
Having knocked off the Bullpups last week, the first year Coach will be looking to knock the Stags off the top spot having won the last four, 4A Titles maintaining strength in the East bracket.
