Congrats to the Olathe East Hawks on their first win of the season vs. the SM South Raiders.
In a very ugly start to the game by both teams, issues holding the ball was the name of the game in the first half of play.
Beginning in the second, the Hawks came out firing on all cylinders once finally being able to hold on to the ball without turning it over.
Turnovers at one point seemed to be the centerpiece around the offensive line's that would ultimately determine who would get their first win. Points continued to add up with passing a great passing TD and a strong ground game for the Hawks.
Congrats to Coach Jesse Owen and coaching staff earning their first Sunflower Football League win in a new era of Hawks Football.
