Congrats to the SM North Indians on their first Win of the 2015 season. This win came against the SM South Raiders, feather great play by Junior QB Will Schneider.
As the (www.pvpost.com) stated, the Indians won their first SMSD #512 game since the 2011 season. Ironically that win came in a week-1 game vs the Raiders.
Although both wins came against the Raiders, and during two completely different Coaching regimes, the Indians came out and dominated from the start that they wanted to win this game.
Of the five (5) SMSD Football programs, the Indians alone have been battling for respect for a long time. The departure of Sam Brown after eight (8) seasons took the wind out of this Football program for a long time. As the decade began and at the start of former Head Coach Dennis Grayless' tenure, the Indians began an awful streak of losses from within the District. From 2011 to 2014, North was 1-15 in all District games, and 1-19 in 20 games played 2010 to 2014.
Look for the Indians to continue to rise in the seasons to come with it being a benefit to them having a young squad. As JR's and SR's their game knowledge will improve immensely under Ben Bartlett.
Congrats again to the Indians, and continue the great work on and off the field representing the League, and SMSD #512. WINDIANS they are!
